Final 2019 PDC Asian Tour Order of Merit: Ilagan tops standings for second year in a row

The full 2019 PDC Asian Tour Order of Merit has been confirmed after the last events were finalised on Saturday and Sunday with Lourence Ilagan claiming the title for the second year in a row.

Ilagan once again was imperious winning three titles this year and reaching multiple finals showing his form over the course of the year. Seigo Asada was just under $1000 behind him; 'The Ninja' was in great form towards the end claiming a double this past weekend but question marks still are alive about his World Championship spot.

Last year, Asada attempted the Japanese Qualifier and won it which meant that the fifth place player would get in. It remains to be seen whether he attempts this again.

If he does though, Yuki Yamada will benefit with the fellow Japanese ace moving into the top four as a result. Other players to claim spots at the Alexandra Palace are the other two standouts on the tour.

They are of course the evergreen Paul Lim who continues to roll back the years; as well as Noel Malicdem who has been consistent throughout the two years of the tour so far.
