From Development Tour to ProTour: Luke Littler set to meet familiar foe Wessel Nijman in Players Championship 15 final

A common tie on the Development Tour last year, Luke Littler will do battle again with Wessel Nijman to see who wins a senior title this time. They duke it out in the final of Players Championship 15 shortly.
Littler eased past Chris Dobey 7-2 and went about his business in superb fashion. He averaged 103 to take down 'Hollywood'. It was a showpiece display from 'The Nuke' as he surely meant business.
Last time he played on the ProTour, he was averaging 78. But certainly isn't doing that today as he returns to the bread and butter action before heading to Australia next week. He would win a second ProTour in sealing the title.
While Wessel Nijman rallied from 3-0 down early to see off Damon Heta 7-5 with the Dutchman starring with a multitude of Development Tour titles this past weekend. He leads the secondary tour but continues to shine on the ProTour too. He averaged 99 in the semi-finals and given his silky smooth action will no doubt prove to be a class watch against Littler.

- It seems odd that at the World Championship they have dancing ladies in hot pants and pom poms and yet the walk on ladies who were much more elegantly attired get removed from the scene. I met Daniella at Silverstone when she was a grid girl in the F1 race and was very pleasant indeed.
