Paul Gallagher claimed victory on Sunday afternoon in the inaugural PDC Darts at Home: Footballers Special.
Gallagher competed in the event which was in aid of NHS Charities Together; alongside West Ham United’s Declan Rice, Leicester City’s James Maddison and West Brom’s Charlie Austin.
The Preston ace began his campaign by easing past Austin 2-0 in an impressive display. It saw him average over 75; pinning a 108 checkout along the way.
He capped that off by beating James Maddison 2-1 and Declan Rice 2-0 to live up to his pre tournament billing as one of the best in the field and claim the honours.
