Gary Anderson again showcased his top form Wednesday by taking the overall victory at
Players Championship 25. The Scot was 8-4 too strong for junior world champion Josh Rock in the final.
The two-time world champion threw averages of 105, 107 and 108 throughout the tournament, but also peaked once with an average of 113.54. It was already his fifth 110-plus average of the season for Anderson.
Only
Gerwyn Price managed to throw more 110+ averages than Anderson in 2023 so far. The Iceman' achieved this feat six times. It should be noted that Price has played a lot more matches. Partly due to participation in the Premier League Darts, the Welshman played 43 more matches than Anderson.
