Geert de Vos among four Belgians to complete field of participants for Belgian Darts Open at Host Nation Qualifier

On Thursday, the Host Nation Qualifier for the Belgian Darts Open was played in Wieze. Geert de Vos, Born van Put, Jeroen Caron and Steven Strobbe managed to qualify for the first European Tour event of the season.

De Vos won 6-0 over Patrick Bulen in the final round, earning a clash with Peter Wright in the main tournament. Born van Put qualified at the expense of Sven Verdonck (6-3) and will face Lukas Wenig.

Jeroen Caron kept Roberto Vandaele (6-2) from qualifying, earning the right to face Germany's number one Gabriel Clemens. Strobbe won his final 6-4 against Nico Plovier. Strobbe will compete against Brendan Dolan.

The Belgian Darts Open 2024 is scheduled from 8-10 March in Wieze. Michael van Gerwen is the defending champion.
