The final is set at Players Championship 21 and the dream of potentially Gerwyn Price facing Peter Wright has been denied by an incredible German, Daniel Klose.
Price swept aside Daryl Gurney in the opening semi-final with a 99 average, but it was the display of the maiden finalist that was one to stand up and take notice of.
After a day which has seen him defeat Michael Smith, Chris Dobey, Gabriel Clemens and Adam Gawlas among others, Klose who gained his Tour Card earlier this year and has failed to get past the second round all season eased past Peter Wright with poise and precision averaging 100 in the process.
He will now face 'The Iceman' who won both Players Championship titles last time and will aim to add a third of the season.
But can Klose do the unthinkable and become only the second German behind Max Hopp to seal a PDC title or will he be consigned to the nearly club with Gabriel Clemens and Martin Schindler? Find out shortly.
