Gurney disgruntled with German crowd during European Darts Matchplay: “Maybe Kim Huybrechts was right”

Daryl Gurney lost out over the weekend at the European Darts Matchplay to Gabriel Clemens 6-5 in a match which saw ‘Superchin’ miss a match dart in a cauldron like atmosphere in Trier.

Gurney took to Twitter afterwards and said that maybe Kim Huybrechts who said Germany don’t deserve a major was right in his assessment.

“Lots of boos and whistles again … not the best [German flag emoji]. He then added: “I understand to support your own but boo and whistle when we are throwing is disgusting, maybe Kim Huybrechts was right last week.”
