The Quarter-Finals are confirmed at Players Championship 21 with the business end firmly reached in Barnsley. Many of the big names involved are in big clashes coming up shortly.
Daryl Gurney though took care of Gary Anderson in a ProTour epic. He hit a 106 average in a 6-4 win, with Anderson hitting 105 in defeat in a match which featured 11 180's and four ton plus checkouts from 'Superchin'. He faces Ross Smith in the top half.
The winner of that will face either Gerwyn Price or Danny Noppert, while the bottom half sees a resurgent Peter Wright facing Luke Humphries who is aiming to make it back-to-back titles.
The winner of that faces either Chris Dobey in his first full weekend with new manufacturer Target who faces German ace, Daniel Klose in his first Quarter-Final as a Tour Card holder. He took out Adam Gawlas after defeating Michael Smith earlier.
