John Henderson is successfully through to the third round in a straight sets victory where 'The Highlander' dominated throughout against James Richardson.
In that straight sets, Henderson only lost three legs en route averaging 93 which was ten more than his opponent; he will now take on the winner of Gerwyn Price or William O'Connor who face off tonight.
Henderson sealed the first set but only in a decider; with three 180s and a 101.6 average en route against Richardson in what was a pretty even match at this point.
Despite that Henderson started to take real control going 2-0 up in sets with Richardson only really having a glimmer of brilliance with a 106 checkout; but it was 'The Highlander' who was the most game doubling his lead as his average went down to 98 but he was still playing at a good standard.
The Scot stormed to the victory from there as he didn't lose a single leg from there in what was a dominant first display from the seeded player.
