Jerry Hendriks is set to return to the Players Championship circuit for the first time in three years it has been revealed ahead of the double header getting underway in Germany tomorrow.

For Hendriks, it is his first appearance at a Players Championship tournament since July 2016 and he will be joined by Wessel Nijman with the young Dutch ace making his debut on the ProTour.

It means that there will be 25 Dutch players involved; this comes after the likes of Berry van Peer and Patrick van den Boogaard were announced as part of the contingent after numerous players withdrew from the events.

This includes Michael van Gerwen who is missing due to his daughter's birthday; Gary Anderson and Peter Wright are also among those deciding to have the weekend off.

The action gets underway tomorrow in Hildesheim at 11am (BST)/ 12pm local time with two tournaments set to take place in Germany over Saturday and Sunday.
