Mensur Suljovic and Joe Cullen are the final two players through from the opening night of action at the 2021 European Championship Darts.
Suljovic and Cullen both tasted disappointment at the World Grand Prix but both bounced back in style with impressive displays.
'The Gentle' faced off against Adam Hunt and despite a late flurry from 'The Hunter' after going 5-0 down, the Austrian delighted his home crowd with a 6-2 victory.
This with two ton plus checkouts including a 118 and a 117 to win it and 46% on the doubles despite only a 90 average.
While Cullen who started the year as one of the form players in world darts has struggled to recapture that since but he may have found it at the right time on the TV stage.
He eased past Ted Evetts in a whitewash win 6-0 with a 95 average and three 180's.
Only 'The Rockstar' missing multiple match darts saw his average dip below 101 in what was a difficult night for 'Super Ted' who was not at the races.
