Home hero Schindler survived a match dart from Jermaine Wattimena in the deciding leg as he went on to seal a 6-5 victory over the Dutchman.
After his disappointing defeat to Niko Springer, it is once again a German who has accounted for 'Machine Gun' with Peter Wright now awaiting for 'The Wall' in his first European Tour as World Number One.
While Jose Justicia will take on the man of the hour in the past two Premier Leagues with Michael van Gerwen set for a meeting with the Spaniard.
This after Justicia edged past George Killington 6-4 with 60% on the doubles and he will return tomorrow evening to face the now World Number Five.
