Max Hopp saw off Dave Chisnall on Sunday afternoon at the World Matchplay in a thrilling contest which saw 'The Maximiser' come through in a tie-break in the end.

Hopp spoke afterwards and said that he knew that the tie was going to be tough but that in reality he just took his chances. He also said that for him it is in his top five career wins now and that he can't wait to play in the next round.
He added that for him now he's got more mature he feels like he can go far as there isn't as many nerves on the stage as a result now.
"It was a thriller and a really difficult game to win," said Hopp. "I knew it was going to be tough but I took my chances.
"In parts today I averaged well over 100, I fought back into the game and I'm glad to win 11-9 in the end.
"It's in the top five wins for me; the Winter Gardens is an amazing venue and I can't wait for Tuesday - I'm excited to be in the next round.
"I'm still 22 but I'm more mature now. The nerves are settling now on stage and I think I can go far."
