The
Hungarian Darts Trophy is scheduled between September 19-21, 2025 and it is yet another stop on the European Tour and a return after the World Series of Darts Finals. The event is held at the MVM Dome in the city of Budapest.
It will feature a field of 48 players with the top names subject to withdrawals involved including Luke Humphries, Luke Littler, Michael van Gerwen, Stephen Bunting, Gary Anderson and Gerwyn Price. Van Gerwen is the defending champion having defeated Gian van Veen 8-7 in the 2024 final.
Joe Cullen won the 2022 final having beaten William O'Connor. But 2023 saw Dave Chisnall defeated Luke Humphries 8-7 with the latter hitting a nine-dart finish in the final before that win for Van Gerwen last year in the Double Dutch final. They return for the 12th of 14 events this year with only tournaments in Basel and Hildesheim still to go.
