Hughes continues superb form to dump out Humphries, Rock hits 110 average in Ratajski win at Players Championship 3

The Last 16 has began at Players Championship 3 with Gerwyn Price, Josh Rock, Ross Smith, Danny Noppert and Jonny Clayton among those still involved.

Price saw off Scott Williams 6-4 and will next have Richard Veenstra in his sights who has had a superb start to his first season on the PDC Tour.

From a superb start to a resurgence as Jamie Hughes who made a final last weekend continues to produce superb form, he saw off Luke Humphries who is top seed 6-5.

Rock hit a 110 average to down Krzysztof Ratajski and will face newcomer, Adam Warner. While Kim Huybrechts ended the day of Nathan Aspinall, he faces Ricardo Pietreczko.

Noppert faces Madars Razma, while Smith is currently facing Gabriel Clemens. Other ties see Niels Zonneveld face Matt Campbell and Clayton against Gian Van Veen.
