Humphries to miss Belgian Darts Open: 'I didn’t want to miss the birth of my son'

The Belgian Darts Open gets underway in Wieze on Friday. Who will not be there for the 12th European Tour event of the season is Luke Humphries.

Humphries has already won four tournaments on the European Tour this year, but will therefore not add a fifth in Belgium. ''I made the decision to withdraw from this weekends PDC European tour in Belgium, with the imminent arrival of my son soon I didn’t want to miss the birth'', he said on Twitter.

''Good luck to all the players and I’ll look forward to playing there next year'', he added.
