Hurring and Puha latest winners on DPNZ Tour as Robb still leads rankings

John Hurring and Haupai Puha were successful on the Dart Players New Zealand (DPNZ) Tour last weekend.

The DPNZ Tour consists of six weekends of two tournaments each. The top-16 in the final standings then compete for a spot at the PDC World Darts Championship.

Last weekend the third and fourth tournaments were held in Auckland. The third tournament was won by John Hurring, who beat Ben Robb (who had won the first two tournaments) 7-6 in the final. Hurring posted an average of over 94.

The fourth tournament, in which again almost one hundred players participated, was a triumph for Haupai Puha. The former participant in the PDC World Championship was too strong for Tukina Weko in the final, 7-4.

Robb continues to lead the rankings after four tournaments. The next two tournaments are scheduled for April 29 and 30.
