The UK was affected by snow on Saturday and Sunday as flights were ground to a halt and icy weather wreaked havoc. It also nearly derailed Devon Petersen's route to Q-School.
Petersen who is based in Bradford has to travel down from the North of the UK down to Milton Keynes which is a 150+ mile trip and takes over three hours to complete.
But he took to X to thank the local community for their help which garnered over 1,000 likes on the platform. He detailed how without them he wouldn't have made it to Q-School.
Also he saw it as a potential sign that he could get a Tour Card that he has managed to get through the arduous conditions and still find his way out of the snow to drive to Milton Keynes.
Petersen is in good form with the African Warrior winning the ADC Global title and showed some of the numbers he put up before a sudden dip in form which saw him lose his Tour Card.
"So we're in Bradford and I couldn't get out. Now we've dug out that bit there that's my car (shows car). The entire community came out to make sure that I get to Q-School.
"It's got to be the way in which I get this Tour Card. It has to be. Can't dig out the snow, mad days. Hopefully everybody's driving safely on the roads and getting to Q-School. I'm digging my way to Q-School."
My qschool journey was under threat but my community came out to shovel my car out of the snow to make sure i can make the journey.
