Bradley Brooks started 2025 in some of the best form on the tour as he regained his Tour Card with utter ease which is not easy to do. He brought that into the
Winmau World Masters as he romped through the preliminary round into the Last 32 where he will face off against
Michael van Gerwen on Friday.
Brooks also known as 'Bamm Bamm' has set his stall out to make his second chance count as the former World Youth Champion perhaps has never made his potential count truly. But he wants to stand up and be counted among the elite.
He was bullish ahead of the landmark tie saying that he has nothing to fear and believes he can win it all. One step at a time but after winning five straight matches on Wednesday, he is relishing his next task.
“I’m over the moon,” said Brooks, who defeated Ian White, Cam Crabtree and Krzysztof Ratajski in Wednesday’s knockout phase.
“I was working really hard ahead of Q School, so to perform the way I did at Q School, I was really happy, but I wanted to kick on.“I think consistently this is definitely the best I’ve played. Obviously I will be the underdog against Michael, but it’s a massive opportunity.
“I’m playing well and I’m full of confidence, so why can’t I go up there and win? I’m not scared of playing him, and I’m looking forward to it!”
