The final session of action at the International Darts Open begins shortly with some of the World's best still involved in Riesa.
It all begins with Daryl Gurney against Glen Durrant. Gurney came through
earlier with a high quality 6-5 victory against Steve Beaton so will be in red hot form going into later. Durrant also played well but suffered on the doubles which will be something he will want to arrest when he takes on 'Superchin'.
Nathan Aspinall and Gerwyn Price both came through
hard fought victories earlier and as a result it will be hard to call between the pair but 'The Iceman' will sense his opportunity to defend his title after exhibiting good form this weekend. It is up to 'The Asp' to stop him.
Similar for Peter Wright who will sense an opportunity to claim the title after he
defeated one of the main challengers in Mensur Suljovic.
He will take on Adrian Lewis who has taken advantage of poor form from his opponents all weekend to move through to this point and he will hope to up his game further when he faces off against 'Snakebite'.
Finally it will be the turn of Rob Cross against Richard North. Cross eased through in a whitewash win earlier against Joe Cullen while North had to comeback to defeat Steve West.
'Northy' will hope he won't have to have yet another comeback to defeat Cross while Cross will hope to continue his good form from earlier to move into the Semi-Finals.
