🇺🇸 players to win a tour card at Q-School Danny Baggish (2021) Jules van Dongen (2022, 2024)
Jules van Dongen will return to the PDC circuit for the next two seasons. After the third day of play, 'The Dutch Dragon' is already sure of a PDC Tour Card.
The Dutch American did not manage to take a day victory during the first three days of play of the final phase of the European Q-School, but did manage to consistently get far. As a result, Van Dongen is certain to win a Tour Card via the European Q-School Order of Merit.
The 33-year-old Van Dongen also had a PDC Tour Card for the past two seasons. He needed a year and a half to get used to the high level on the PDC Tour, but came into his own in the last six months of 2023.
Van Dongen managed to qualify for the Players Championship Finals and the World Darts Championship, but that ultimately proved insufficient to retain his Tour Card. So now he gets another chance to secure a spot in the top-64 of the world rankings within two years. Moreover, by regaining his Tour Card, Van Dongen is also assured of participating in the US Darts Masters and World Cup of Darts in 2024 and 2025.
