For
Luke Littler, life is about more than just results on the oche. The English sensation, who has quickly become one of the most talked-about names in darts, also carries a deep love for football, and in particular for Manchester United.
A family legacy passed down through generations
When Littler is asked what it means to be a fan of the club from Old Trafford, he doesn’t have to think long. “I think it means everything,”
he says in conversation with Sky Sports. His bond with Manchester United goes beyond simply following matches; it’s a family legacy passed down through generations.
“I'm obviously following in my dad's footsteps and my grandad's footsteps,” Littler explains. That tradition forms the basis of his passion for the club, which has been one of the biggest names in world football for decades.
Still, it’s not just nostalgia that fuels his connection to Manchester United. It’s above all the emotion and commitment the club evokes. “It’s just the passion of the club.”
“We’ve been waiting thirteen years for a Premier League title”
And that last point has been a major part of being a supporter in recent years. The glory days when Manchester United competed for the league title almost every year seem to be on hold for now. Littler is well aware of that. “Obviously, we’ve been waiting thirteen years for a Premier League title now,” he says with a wry smile, referring to the club’s last league triumph in 2013.
For many supporters, that’s a long drought, especially given the club’s rich history. Still, Littler remains optimistic about the future. “Just be patient... we'll be back!"

With his words, Littler shows that despite his young age and rapid rise in the darts world, he is firmly rooted in tradition and loyalty. His love for Manchester United is a striking example: a blend of family, passion, and unwavering support.
