Kai Fan Leung has claimed the third Riley's Amateur Qualifier spot for the UK Open (4-6 March) following Danny Lauby and Diogo Portela.
The 38-year-old darts player from Hong Kong won the amateur qualifying tournament in Chester last Sunday. Leung has competed at the UK Open three times in the past four years. In 2021 he managed to make it to the fourth round.
Thirteen qualifying tournaments for amateur darts players will be organized before the UK Open. The total field of participants for the UK Open consists of 160 players which features all 128 Tour Card holders and eight players each from Challenge and Development Tour from 2021.
