Mervyn King produced a brilliant comeback to dispel the charge of Dimitri van den Bergh and move through to the second round at the World Grand Prix.

King spoke afterwards and admitted that he shouldn't have been behind. He also said about Van den Bergh celebrating that he thought it was something else; but was told otherwise by 'The Dreammaker'.
'I shouldn't have been behind. I had my chance and missed it; I paid the price but we got back in the end,' said King to LiveDarts.
'I asked him what it was all about and he went 'phew' and I thought fair enough but I thought that was something else.'
'I don't know it just appeared, hopefully that will keep doing that if I need it. That first set should have been mine and I let it go which was very frustrating but to go down the way I did but at the end of the day a win is win.'
