Klaasen and Bellmont secure qualification for Czech Darts Open

Jelle Klaasen secured a starting spot for the Czech Darts Open (May 12-14) on Thursday. 'The Cobra' managed to get through the Associate Member Qualifier in Riesa.

The Associate Member Qualifier allows players who participated in the Q-School but did not win a Tour Card to compete.

Klaasen beat Michel Gadenz (5-0), Thomas Köhnlein (5-4), Sergio Krassen (5-4) and Andreas Grenz (5-3) to secure his place in the European Tour event in Prague. The other spot went to Stefan Bellmont. The Swiss defeated Max Hopp (5-3), Jochen Graudenz (5-1), Markus Kessler (5-2), Kevin Kollmann (5-1) and Danny Tessmann (5-4).
