Koltsov claims clean sweep to win latest Icons of Darts League

Boris Koltsov has claimed victory in the penultimate day of action in the second week of Phase Two in the Icons of Darts League.

Koltsov won six consecutive games to conclude a cracking clean sweep with a maximum 12 points in one of his best performances so far in the MODUS Live Leagues.

He saw off Diogo Portela (4-2), James Hubbard (4-1), Keelan Kay (4-2), Fallon Sherrock (4-1); as well as Martin Adams (4-3) and finally Justin Smith (4-1) - who has dominated the last two groups.

Martin Adams and Fallon Sherrock came second and third in today's group and both had superb ends to the day.

'Wolfie' finished on five wins and one defeat with Sherrock on four wins and two defeats. The former after losing his first match of the day to Koltsov went on a four match unbeaten run ending with the Queen of the Palace who herself had gone on the same run prior to that tie.

It was a 4-0 whitewash though for Adams who as a result secured second spot. James Hubbard was next up ending his week with three wins and three defeats.

While Justin Smith who has been the star of the week in this Pool couldn't continue that winning two and losing his last four games to finish fifth.

Diogo Portela and Keelan Kay finished in the final places of the table; with one more day to go of this week's Icons of Darts League.
