Labanauskas won 3-0 in sets with two whitewash sets before a deciding leg final set which saw him through.
'Lucky D' looked good averaging 94.7 with three 180's and 53 percent on the doubles as he moves through to a tie against Ian White.
In the first set he broke throw early doors and eased through the first set superbly averaging 102.5 at the time with 3/4 on the doubles as he blew away 'Prime Time' in the early going.
This continued into the second set as he made it six leg in a row with a similar average as his stunning form continue.
He made it seven but Edgar finally got off the mark and gave an ironic celebration for doing so as he looked to build himself back into the tie. The Daventry ace broke in the requisite leg but missed two set darts allowing Labanauskas to force a last set decider.
He obliged and claimed the victory looking good in the process as he aims to repeat some of his form he showed in spells twelve months ago when he dumped out 'Barney' on debut.
