Line up for Quarter-Finals at Players Championship 18 confirmed including Bunting, Price, Cross and Cullen

The line up for the Quarter-Finals at Players Championship 18 in Hildesheim has been confirmed as there are eight players left who are battling for the title.
In the first quarter-final Stephen Bunting will take on Richard Veenstra, after Bunting beat Ryan Meikle 6-4 while Veenstra edged out Tony Martinez 6-5 to reach the last eight.
In the second quarter-final, we get a clash between former world champions Gerwyn Price and Rob Cross. Price triumphed 6-1 against James Wade, while Cross recorded the same result against Ricky Evans.
Van Veen recorded a convincing 6-2 victory over Ian White, setting up a Dutch quarter-final against Jeffrey de Zwaan. The latter defeated Rusty-Jake Rodriguez 6-1. The final quarter-final is between Darryl Pilgrim and Joe Cullen. They eliminated Cam Crabtree (6-5) and Andrew Gilding (6-4) respectively.

- Is this the start of an attempt to say that he (Littler) is the best ever as he has won most money. Perhaps adjust all prize money earned by allowing for inflation. If Littler gets close too (does not even have to overtake) both MVG’s and Taylor’s Major titles total then he is in the conversation. - It is shocking and unbelievable that 2 Hotty who was always such a decent player, 2 time World Champion and won the Grand Slam when it meant something. He really should have joined the PDC earlier. I would like to see more players involved on a weekly basis similar to the Modus Super Series. A knockout tournament with 16 winners from each week.
