The PDC Super Series kicked off on Thursday afternoon with the first Players Championship event of the new Pro Tour season. The likes of Gerwyn Price, Michael van Gerwen and Peter Wright were among the entries but it was Joe Cullen who made it back-to-back titles after ending last season with a ProTour title also.
