The PDC Super Series kicked off on Thursday afternoon with the first Players Championship event of the new Pro Tour season. The likes of Gerwyn Price, Michael van Gerwen and Peter Wright were among the entries but it was Joe Cullen who made it back-to-back titles after ending last season with a ProTour title also. - I completely agree with Vincent's comments on "whistlegate". It's great to have someone with Vincent's exprience address this issue, so hopefully clearer and stricter guidlelines can be given to referees, security and members of the crowd. No whistling during throws, and something like: whistlers evicted and fined a hefty sum.
