Draw 2026 PDC World Darts Championship | Littler-Labanauskas, Humphries-Evetts and Gurney-Greaves standout first-round ties

Reigning world champion Luke Littler will begin the defence
of his title against Lithuanian Darius Labanauskas at the PDC World Darts
Championship between December 11 - January 3.
The 18-year-old, as tradition, will compete on the opening
night of the coveted event in his highly anticipated return to the palace. Also
in his quarter, Joe Cullen has a tasty tie against Bradley Brooks, Chris Dobey
takes on China’s Xiaochen Zong while Gerwyn Price faces off against Adam
Gawlas.
Last year’s semi-finalist Stephen Bunting will come up
against Sebastian Bialecki. The Pole has won a title on the Pro Tour this year,
and will prove stiff competition for the world number four. Other notable ties
include Queen of the Palace Fallon Sherrock getting a mouth-watering tie
against Dave Chisnall, 2023 world champion Michael Smith facing off against
Lisa Ashton and Jonny Clayton gunning for glory against debutant Adam
Lipscombe.
Into the second half of the draw, and the world number two
Luke Humphries will play Ted Evetts in his first-round game. The 2024 world
champion could have a matchup against the popular Paul Lim in the second round
if the 71-year-old can find a way past Jeffrey de Graaf. The former world
number one has a tough quarter, including Nathan Aspinall who faces Lourence
Ilagan and James Wade who has been drawn against Ryusei Azemoto. The European
champion Gian van Veen comes up against the returning Spaniard Cristo Reyes.
Three-time world champion Michael van Gerwen was defeated in
the final by Littler last year. His quest to go one better begins against Mitsohiko
Tatsunami. A possible third-round opponent, Peter Wright, will need to get past
Noa-Lynn van Leuven. Fellow Scot and two-time world champion Gary Anderson will
play Adam Hunt, an all-Dutch matchup between the inform Danny Noppert and
Jurjen van der Velde has the potential to be a cracking fixture. Josh Rock will
face Gemma Hayter, while Beau Greaves is set to make her Ally Pally debut
against Daryl Gurney in a highly anticipated tie.
The PDC World Darts Championship will commence
on Thursday, 11th December – Saturday, 3rd January.

- Oh fudge off. Who the hell decided Mardull was preferred choice. Just look as its idiotic face. What a talentless waste of space What a travesty when you compare what ITV had. He comes across as a jokey person but it's a class A piece of sheet, miserable as hell and completely full of himself. I don't know anyone who can say anything positive about this goof. - Absolutely disgraceful, really I've said many times that ITV coverage is superior to SKY and SKY know that. Jacqui was absolutely fantastic and extremely knowledgeable. Emma from SKY is more interested in what to wear than learning about darts. Chris Mason is absolutely the best and greatest commentator on TV, even better than Alex Jacques on F1 and Alex is absolutely brilliant. It is criminal that Chris and Alan will probably never be on TV again, what an amazing waste of talent. Poor Ned, who is just as excellent and knowledgeable on darts as the Tour de France has lost both gigs this year. The whole ITV team from presentation, commentary, production the whole team will definitely be missed and I have enjoyed every minute of their coverage. Thank you so much. John Part is the ONLY decent and knowledgeable person on SKY. - Gurney is off form and will completely crack and have a meltdown as the crowd will be relentless, although I think Beau will beat him anyway. I also think Fallon will beat the Helium voiced Chisnall. Poor Gemma has a toughie Peter Wright is also completely off the boil but will probably squeeze past Lisa.
