Luke Humphries has qualified for the final of the eighth Players Championship tournament. With the title on the line, the world champ will face Danny Noppert
Noppert won easily over Radek Szaganski in the semifinals. 'The Freeze' won the first four legs of the match and then made it 6-1. Szaganski was then able to grab one more leg before Noppert decided the match with a 16-darter.
Humphries meanwhile had a much trickier affair with Gian van Veen. The Dutchman won the first two legs, but then had to concede three legs in a row to the Englishman. From that moment on all the legs went with the darts. Van Veen had a chance in the last leg from 167, but was unable to hit a double. Via double 8 Humphries went on to win the final match;
