Luke Humphries & Beau Greaves among three last minute withdrawals from Players Championship 9 lineup

The 9th Players Championship event of the 2025 Pro Tour takes place this afternoon in Leicester. Although many of the most notable names in the sport are present, two big-name stars have been announced as late withdrawals.

Both PDC world number one and the Women's Series number one - Luke Humphries and Beau Greaves were announced as a part of the original field of competitors at Players Championship 9. When the draw was announced earlier today though, both of the world leaders were notable by their absence from the list. As it turns out, both Humphries and Greaves has withdrawn from the field, as has German star Kai Gotthardt. Their replacements? Ted Evetts, Carl Sneyd and Scott Campbell.
