Luke Humphries is into the Quarter-Finals of the Winmau World Masters dismissing Josh Rock for the loss of just two legs with a 4-0 win. While Stephen Bunting continues his title defence to end Saturday afternoon.
Humphries stormed to the 4-0 win with 66% on the doubles and one of those two legs lost was in the first set as Humphries edged through 2-1.
Rock hit a 72 checkout in set two for 1-1 but Humphries sealed the second with it being Rock's final leg as Humphries eased into the distance. A 75 checkout saw Humphries go into the lead in the third set after Rock missed darts at double and he wrapped up the lead on double eight as Rock could only pressure.
Set four saw Humphries wrap it up in style as he hit a 104 checkout to win it. After poor form as of late is Humphries finally hitting his stride again?

While Bunting secured a spot in the last eight at the Winmau World Masters. 'The Bullet' managed to get rid of Peter Wright 4-2 in sets in the second round.
Meanwhile, Bunting is unbeaten on the stage in Milton Keynes for seven matches in a row. Last year, Bunting managed to take the title when the tournament was still called the Masters. Since then, the event has received a major upgrade and the tournament was renamed the Winmau World Masters.
Bunting managed to win the first set 2-0 by throwing out 70, and then doubled the lead to 2-0 by winning set two 2-1. Wright, however, brought the tension back by grabbing the third set. This required a 17-darter and a 15-darter. Snakebite' then had chances to even the score, but missed two set pieces to make it 2-2. Bunting took advantage with a 14-darter to make it 3-1.
Bunting got his first matchdart in the fifth set, but missed his chance at tops. That miss was punished by Wright, who managed to finish 120 and win the fifth set 2-1. However, Bunting immediately took the lead in the sixth set with a 97 finish, before Wright tied the score again in set six with a 122 finish. Bunting then got to finish it off on his own throw and with a 13-darter he succeeded.
