Luke Littler is just three wins away from yet another major title. The teenage world champion has battled past a strong showing from Krzysztof Ratajski 10-8 on the main stage in Minehead, to reach the quarter-finals at the 2025 UK Open.

Ratajski started strongly to be fair to the Pole, breaking the Littler throw in the opening leg of the match to nudge in front early. For the rest of the rest of the opening session though, it was all about the 18-year-old Englishman. Littler raced through the next four legs unanswered to head off stage 4-1 in the clear.

Although Littler upped his average towards the 106 mark in the second session, Ratajski refused to go away. After the Polish Eagle took the opening leg of the session to get back to 4-2, Littler bounced back strongly again to reel off the next two and threaten to runaway with the contest. Ratajski though, broke the Littler throw in leg 9 before holding solidly in leg 10 to head off stage just 6-4 down.

Ratajski's momentum continued to surge after they returned to the stage. Picking up legs 11 and 12, the Pole forced his way back to level terms. After Littler then missed numerous darts for the 13th leg, Ratajski had a dart at double 6 to nudge in front. Having done all the hard work though, Ratajski blew his big opportunity, allowing Littler to return and restore his advantage at 7-6.

As Ratajski's average actually overtook Littler's for the first time, he continued to go blow for blow with the world champion as they traded holds of throw at 8-8. Littler held in leg 17 to get to one leg from the victory, The Nuke then struck with a break of throw in the 18th leg to seal victory.
