The PDC has announced much of the field of participants for the Nordic Darts Masters. Seven of the eight Premier League players are competing in Copenhagen.
The fifth edition of the Nordic Darts Masters will take place June 6-7 in the Danish capital of Copenhagen. Luke Humphries, Luke Littler, Michael van Gerwen, Stephen Bunting, Rob Cross, Jonny Clayton, Gerwyn Price and Nathan Aspinall are the eight PDC top players who may make their appearance there. For Littler, it will be his debut at this tournament after being unable to participate last year due to a planned vacation.
In the first round of the World Series tournament in Denmark, the eight PDC top players will take on a player from the Nordic & Baltic region. All Tour Card holders from this region have also received an invitation from the PDC. There are now six of them; Madars Razma, Benjamin Reus, Jeffrey de Graaf, Cor Dekker, Oskar Lukasiak and Viktor Tingstrom.
The remaining two spots will be given away through qualifying tournaments for players from the Nordic & Baltic region. De Graaf was born in the Netherlands, but lives in Sweden and now darts under that nationality. Dekker's situation is similar, only he currently lives in Norway.
In 2024, the fourth edition of the Nordic Darts Masters was won by Gerwyn Price. He settled with Madars Razma (6-2), Dimitri van den Bergh (6-1), Michael Smith (7-3) and Rob Cross (8-5) to take the title.
