Luke Littler once again drew attention to himself at
Players Championship 5 on Tuesday. After throwing a nine-darter earlier in the tournament, he threw a whopping 122.96 average in the quarterfinals.
Damon Heta had to sit idly by as Littler shook one superleg after another out of his sleeve. Only the first leg was for Heta, who got on the scoreboard with a 15-darter.
Littler then fired two 12-darters to take over the lead. Then "The Nuke" rallied to 4-1 with an 11-darter and a 13-darter, before the Englishman finished with a 13-darter and an 11-darter.
Littler's average is a vast improvement on his personal record. That stood at 116.51. The teenage sensation threw this average in 2024 when he participated in the Czech Darts Open.
