Mardle speaks out against Whitlock's grip points again: 'Need to be banned from professional darts'

Simon Whitlock's points once again sparked debate during his 2020/21 PDC World Championship loss to Krzysztof Ratajski in the Third Round.

Whitlock fell 4-0 with his new darts on display once more but with his usual homemade points.

This meant he came under fire including from Sky Sports commentator and pundit, Wayne Mardle.

He has previously been vocal about his points and took to Twitter again to say they should be banned from darts.

"I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Simon’s points need to be banned from professional darts. It’s not fair on his opponents and it’s not fair to the board manufacturer."
