Menzies dumps out Price, Gilding continues incredible form as Last 64 concludes at Players Championship 18

The board finals have begun at Players Championship 18 with Cameron Menzies, Luke Humphries and Gabriel Clemens already through to the Last 16.

But it was Menzies who starred in the Last 64 dumping out Gerwyn Price in a superb 6-1 win averaging 96 in the process and he has now followed that up with the same scoreline and an even better average of 99 in seeing off Jamie Hughes.

While there was also standout displays from Clemens as he thumped Gordon Mathers 6-0 with a 1`14.15 average and followed it up with a 6-4 win over Geert Nentjes. Humphries also sealed a repeat win over Rowby-John Rodriguez from Trier's final smashing him 6-`1.

Andrew Gilding is also into the Last 32 after continuing his brilliance with a 111 average to see off Berry van Peer. Also through include James Wade, Peter Wright, Dimitri van den Bergh, Damon Heta, Adrian Lewis and Joe Cullen.
