Michael Smith into Rotterdam final at the expense of Gerwyn Price

Michael Smith has become the first player to advance to the final of Night 12 in the Premier League Darts visited Rotterdam. That was at the expense of Gerwyn Price, who was defeated 6-5.
A meeting with the winner of the duel between Nathan Aspinall and Luke Humphries awaits later in the evening. Smith took the first leg by throwing out 59, but the next two legs went to Price with a 17-darter and a 14-darter. However, Smith then took over again via a 15-darter and a 14-darter.
The subsequent legs all went with the darts, requiring an 11th deciding leg to determine a winner. Smith was not out in five visits, but Price could not take advantage. Then "Bullyboy" threw out 74 for a 6-5 win.

- I completely agree with Vincent's comments on "whistlegate". It's great to have someone with Vincent's exprience address this issue, so hopefully clearer and stricter guidlelines can be given to referees, security and members of the crowd. No whistling during throws, and something like: whistlers evicted and fined a hefty sum.
