Michael van Gerwen, Luke Littler and Luke Humphries all missing from final Players Championship double header

Wednesday and Thursday will be exciting days on the Pro Tour, as the final two Players Championship tournaments will be played albeit many top names are missing.
Among those not to register for Players Championship 29 and 30 include Michael van Gerwen, Dimitri van den Bergh, Ronny Huybrechts, Paul Krohne, Adrian Lewis, Geert Nentjes, Christian Perez, Haupai Puha, Pascal Rupprecht, Leighton Bennett, Adam Smith-Neale, Luke Humphries, Luke Littler and Gerwyn Price.
These two tournaments are the last two tournaments in the qualification race for the Players Championship Finals. The field of participants for the World Darts Championship will also be largely known after these two events.
A total of 125,000 pounds in prize money is distributed at each Players Championship tournament. The winner of the event will receive a check for 15,000 pounds.
