The afternoon session is complete on the opening day of action at the Baltic Sea Darts Open in Kiel with Arron Monk, Niko Springer and Bradley Brooks through to Saturday.
Monk will face his fellow New Kids on the Oche co-star from back in the day in Joe Cullen tomorrow after making a winning return to the European Tour.
The Andover ace saw off Brendan Dolan 6-5 with five 180's to his name as he sealed the last two legs from 5-4 down after initially being 4-3 up in the tie. He let off a show of emotion as he sealed the victory and will hope that he can cause a shock tomorrow.
As will Springer who impressed last year on the European Tour and he saw off Jermaine Wattimena 6-4 with home hopes still alive with Gabriel Clemens, Florian Hempel and of course Martin Schindler tomorrow still to play as well as Lukas Wenig tonight.
He will face Michael Smith on Saturday after an impressive 6-4 win with a 97.6 average and five 180's. While Brooks will also return tomorrow after pouncing on costly missed darts at double from Josh Payne to seal a 6-2 win. Next will be Damon Heta.
