The seventeenth edition of
Premier League Darts is set to begin on Monday evening with only three out of ten current participants having played more than 100 matches in the tournament.
Raymond van Barneveld leads with the most Premier League matches of all time with a total of 210, two more than his great Rival
Phil Taylor.
Taylor though has a better record with 284 points in 208 matches, compared to 219 for Van Barneveld. It is interesting of course to note that Barney could add to that if included in further line-ups after his return.
Behind are two rivals in
James Wade (158) and Adrian Lewis (155). They will remain on this number for the time being, with the former in particular just missing out on qualification this year.
Gary Anderson is the most experienced this year with 143 matches, only one more than
Michael van Gerwen.
Peter Wright is well behind with a total of 108 games.
