Multiple records broken in Wright-Anderson PDC World Darts Championship classic

Peter Wright prevailed in a PDC World Darts Championship classic against Gary Anderson in a game which also broke records in the end.

Wright hit the most 180's in a PDC World Darts Championship match with 24 in all over the course of the tie. While overall, this accounted for 39 total 180's.

This broke another record in being the most hit in a PDC World Darts Championship semi-final as well as accounting for both pinning ton plus averages in a tie.

Both players served up a darting spectacle at the Alexandra Palace.
