Murschell ahead of US Darts Masters in Las Vegas: 'It's massively important for North American players'

Dawson Murschell will be one of many players who will be aiming to make it through to the US Darts Masters and North American Championship in Las Vegas as the World Series returns next weekend.

Murschell spoke ahead of the event and said that he can't wait to potentially return. As well as that he spoke of the impoetance of the event for North American players to play against the big players.

This is something which encouraged 'Awesome Dawson' who as a result of his run in 2017 made the move over to the UK to play on the PDC Tour and is now a fully-fledged Tour Card holder.

"I love Vegas, that's my city when it comes to darts," said Murschell.

"I just love everything that comes with playing there; the atmosphere and having everybody around who I grew up with in the darts scene.

"It's massively important for North American players to get the chance to play against the big names of the PDC.

"It gives North Americans the chance to show what we can do on TV and on a stage.

"By winning a few games it shows we can compete, which will in turn encourage darts to grow in America and Canada."
