Never before seen feat as Van den Bergh, Van Gerwen and Clemens reach PDC World Darts Championship semi-finals

This evening, four players will battle it out for a spot in the final of the PDC World Darts Championship and never before have there been so many players from continental Europe involved.
There is three in 2023 which eclipses the previous best between the years of 2013-2017 with only 2014 proving the outlier with two.
But while Van den Bergh and Clemens have broke new ground for their countries, they have also done for Europe as a whole joining Michael van Gerwen who is a usual fixture in the latter stages.
