Paul Nicholson during a recent interview with the PDC has revealed that he is set to return to playing under English nationality if he rejoins the PDC Tour after Q-School.
Nicholson has played under the Australian flag for all of his career; due to holding a passport in the country after originally being born in Newcastle.
Despite that, he has made the decision not to do so anymore; as he will not be renewing that passport. In the interview which you can watch below, 'The Asset' believes he is upset in a way that he isn't recognised due to his contribution to Australia; but is willing to pass on that baton fully to Simon Whitlock, Damon Heta and Kyle Anderson.
He ended by saying that more plans are set to be made after Q-School; but for the moment it seems like English nationality going forward will be the plan.
