No hard feelings for Joe Cullen after Premier League snub: ''Littler HAD to be in! The global attention his rise has attracted is huge for darts!"

Last year, Joe Cullen felt it was ''a kick in the balls'' when he did not receive an invitation to the Premier League Darts, but this year 'The Rockstar' can live better with not receiving the nod.

Once again, the Englishman is not among the chosen few this year. The PDC issued invitations to Luke Humphries, Michael van Gerwen, Michael Smith, Nathan Aspinall, Gerwyn Price, Rob Cross, Peter Wright and Luke Littler to participate in the prestigious darts competition.

The big question was whether the PDC dared to pick teenage sensation Littler, who made the World Darts Championship final at age 16. They did indeed take that gamble, and that decision is supported by Cullen.

"Had plenty of messages about PL picks- some saying I should be in, some saying other players should be in..." Cullen wrote on his official X (Twitter) account.

''Personally think @OfficialPDC got it right this year!'' the former Premier League finalist continued. ''Littler HAD to be in! The global attention his rise has attracted is huge for darts! And we as players will all benefit," Cullen concludes.
