Fallon Sherrock will not be joining the PDC ProTour in 2022 after failing to live up to the high billing set before 2022 UK
Q-School The 27-year-old lost to Nathan Treadgold 6-3 in the second round on the final day and now leaves with no points.
'The Queen of the Palace' initially looked likely to miss out on playing in the final stage of UK Q-School. However due to a good final day, she managed to secure a spot.
Sherrock started the final phase with two defeats. Danny Lauby won 6-1 on Wednesday, after which Joshua Richardson proved too strong 6-5 a day later. On Friday, the Queen of the Palace finally managed to win a match. She defeated David Pallett 6-3, but then lost 6-3 to Justin Smith, leaving her at nil on the Q-School Order of Merit prior to the final day of play.
That meant that Sherrock had to win the closing tournament on Saturday to still be left with a Tour Card to the Q-School. She narrowly beat Jarred Cole 6-5 in the first round, but lost a game later.
Even without a Tour Card, Sherrock still has plenty of opportunities this season. By participating in Q-School, she can participate in this year's 24 Challenge Tour tournaments and the Euro Tour qualifiers for players without a Tour Card.
It is also likely she will play some World Series tournaments she previously missed out on with her marketability still at an all time high.
In addition, there is also the extended version of the Women's Series. This will have twenty tournaments in 2022. Qualification for the Grand Slam of Darts and the World Darts Championship can be earned again via the Women's Series.
