The Grand Slam of Darts semi-final line-up features Raymond van Barneveld, Nathan Aspinall, Luke Humphries and Michael Smith but none of the top three in the world.
Gerwyn Price and Michael van Gerwen, with the latter being the final to go home bowed out at the Quarter-Final stage, while Peter Wright lost in the Group Stage.
This has been unheard of in recent years due to the dominance of Price in particular in this tournament but it is only the third occasion it has.
The most recent was 2020 which was won by Jose de Sousa and Van Gerwen, Wright and Price again were the top three seeds in alternate order, while back in 2012, it was Phil Taylor, Adrian Lewis and Christian Kist who were the top three in Wolverhampton.
