Noppert storms past Clayton in superb display, clinical Cullen downs Ratajski

The first Quarter-Final has been confirmed at the Austrian Darts Open with Danny Noppert set to face Joe Cullen this evening in Graz.
Noppert continues his brilliant form in recent months with a superb victory over Jonny Clayton. The UK Open champion stormed to a 6-2 victory over the Premier League Darts leader.
This featured a 104.3 average and five 180's from 'Noppie' as he froze out the Ferret
Noppert got off to an excellent start to the game by breaking Clayton with a 10-darter straight into the first leg. Then The Freeze broke into a 5-0 lead. Clayton hit back but it was too much of a mountain to climb as Noppert rounded it off.
While Cullen was also superb in a similarly clinical display over Krzysztof Ratajski winning 6-2 over 'The Polish Eagle' who impressed on Saturday.
It was a 101.7 average alongside 50% on the doubles compared to 2/7 from his opponent as he eased through to the Quarter-Finals in Graz.
